What is a defective item?
All books sold at bookbook.eu are NEW and stored at an optimal temperature, protected from direct sunlight, in high-quality storage facilities that meet all European Union standards. Each book we ship is visually inspected during order preparation. However, a book is not considered a defective item if it shows minor imperfections arising during transport, packing, or storage—similar to those often seen on books sold in regular bookstores (e.g., slight scratches on the cover or its film, a slight change in paper color along one outer edge, etc.).
bookbook.eu is not responsible for the content of books (e.g., proofreading, editing, or translation errors and quality). Responsibility for content rests solely with the publisher, as indicated in each book’s technical details.
Please inform us immediately about any defective items by emailing [email protected] In the email subject line, include your invoice number and the note Defective item. In the message, provide the product title and briefly describe the defect (e.g., some pages are missing). Then follow the returns instructions. We cover the return shipping cost for defective items.
